About me

As a Cultural Care local childcare consultant (LCC), I invite our host families and au pairs as well as those considering Cultural Care Au Pair to explore my site and learn about what is going on in our community. I provide year-round support to host families and au pairs, and also talk to families considering the program to help them determine if Cultural Care Au Pair is the right childcare solution for them.

When I’m not helping host families and au pairs, you can find me researching and reading parenting blogs, books and articles.  I have combined over a decade of parenting experience with my professional background in psychology and education and founded The Parent Company. While experiencing the challenging (though wonderful!) roller coaster ride of raising children, I was inspired to seek positive solutions to everyday family issues. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills through classes and private coaching sessions that focus on creating healthy, connected, and grounded families. My goal is for children to have high self-esteem, to be self motivated and respectful of themselves and others, and for parents to be happy and confident with their parenting.

I earned a BA in Psychology, a M.Ed. in Educational Psychology and have trained extensively in the positive parenting field.  I have seen the transformative benefits of consuming healthy foods and practicing respectful parenting with my own family. I love to help other parents achieve the same with theirs.

In my free time I drinks green smoothies, play Qwirkle and trains for various races.
